Brilliant stuff springy mate, pity about the wind.
You will have to put one of those furry things round the microphone, they seem to block out the wind noise.

Sorry about the wind noise, they were shot on an ordinary digital stills camera. Maybe turn the sound down and look at the pictures. I also took a long video from the front line to show exactly how the whole attack worked, BUT the wind is bloody awful in patches, but it does show a hell of a lot of information. The wind got really bad going down towards the stream so the next video will be that last in that series.
Cheers

springbok, from the firing line would be awe sum, and as you say,the sound can be turned off..why? what wind i heard spoiled nothing.. it was the wind echoing around that hallowed ground, could'nt be more authentic.. i woke up this morning and a couple of hours later i was walking the battlefield..courtesy of you. and as i said, more intimate, your on to something there..ordinary cam.way to go thank you

Isandlwana on the firing line. Sorry guys the sound in patches is really bad, blame the spirits of Isandlwana
What ive tried to do, and I aint no Spielberg, is show the extent of the firing line all the way around to the donga.
Cheers

Excellent! Videos give a much better overview of the terrain! Seeing Younghusband's position on the slope, doe's convince one, that the charge down into the massed ranks of the Zulu's did take place. And an I deal position for one of his men to hang back, and hide in the cave. Thanks Springbok!

Sprinkbok. You have surpassed yourself. Your knowledge on the Battle of Isandlwana is like a breath of fresh air! So much so from now on, I will refer to you as " Springbok the Historian" never mind qualifications ect. You superior on the ground work! Leave the theories to those Historian's that haven't visited the field of Battle.
Amazing you don't know what " Gaffer Tape " is. It's the stuff that holds most British cars together, and keeps the wife quiet if used correctly!
