Officers of the 1st/24th, believed to be Malta, circa 1868.
(John Young Collection.)

Photographed some ten years prior to the Zulu War, a number of officers would serve in the campaign.  So far I believe I have identified Glyn, White, Melvill, the Hitchcock brothers.

Any thoughts on any others would be welcomed.

Mainly, the pose (attitude / maintenance) of the man even if he seems to appear "fatter" than Dempster in the other well -known photograph.
