| Hi, Wondering if anyone had any info on Harold James Morgan of H Company, supposedly fought and died at Isandlwana.

| Hi Joe . The only H. Morgan I found is 1606 Private , From 25th Bgde Depot 21 / 1 / 79 . Posted to C Co , Rorkes Drift 29 / 1 / 79 ( Orders Book - Rorkes Drift , Regimental Archive ) South Africa Medal with Clasp 1879. No other H. Morgans in the 2 Battalions . Several J. Morgans but no other initial given . This from ' The Noble 24TH ' by Norman Holme . cheers 90th. |

| Hi 90th, thanks for looking mate, I was given that name by a friend who it is his great grandfather. He says that he still has a Zulu shield, club and spear....somewhere in the loft. Ive asked that if he were to find them that he would send me a picture.
So that H. Morgan would not have been at Isandlwana. Maybe he enlisted under another name???

He just emailed me back and he says that along with the club, shield and spear, he has a pith helmet, cartridge box, belt buckles and a biscuit tin!
