Hi All,

Just to update you on what's coming up -

The first ever Zulu film exhibition will be opening at the London Film Museum, which is on the South Bank by the London Eye, on the 24th July 2010. It will consist of original material from the production, including the original storyboards, script, production paperwork, photographs, posters from around the world etc. There is a high possibility we may also have costumes from the set.

The exhibition is due to run for a year, so you'll all have the chance to see it.

If you have ANY original material connected to the film, and would like to loan it out to the exhibition (all fully insured), please contact me ASAP as I'm currently collating the exhibits.

I'm also looking for Zulu War reenactors for the opening day - full English and Zulu costumes with weaponry to add authenticity. Anyone know anyone?

Thanks

Henry

S.D Sounds like a plan. I'm up for that. Of course we have a year to plan. Might be able to get Rai to show us some of the local Graves at some point during the day.

Ordinarily I would probably attend and bring along some of the guys in full 24th kit, unfortunately the Diehards are at the Festival of History at Kelmarsh Hall that weekend, Boer war impression for English Heritage.
The 1879 Group may have a few who could attend, ther is also Sandra at the Ibuthu group.

Interestingly Paul Raby has just published a book on the film, Zulu, The truth behind the film.it is £7.99 + P & P I believe and can be bought direct from Paul on 07970 365260.

Paul sent me a copy to read, so I put a review on the website. Its a good read, with the script fully written out, with biographs of the participants etc.

The Zulu exhibition opens this coming saturday 24th at the London Film Museum. Events on the day, starting at 1pm, will include a lecture by Sheldon Hall, a Q&A with some of the original cast and crew members, and a free screening of our favourite film.

To find the museum - it's on the Southbank, London SE1 right next door to the London Eye ticket office.

Hope to see you all there.

Henry
