Found this old photograph in the 'The Colony of Natal; an official illustrated handbook and railway guide by Ingram, J. Forsyth 1895 showing Sir George Pomeroy Colley's grave.

Not sure what state the graveyard is in now. Gary I think you went a few years ago.

Mount Prospect Cemetery in 2018. Photographs courtesy of 90th. Salute

It appears well maintained and Gary thinks this is because the cemetery is on private property.

Macdonald's Koppie in the background.
Called Macdonalds Koppie because of the abundance of burghers, Smit taking great relish in his capture. (sauce unknown)
