We are all here to communicate and enjoy the various discussions and information on the Anglo Zulu War of 1879. Opinions will vary, you will agree and disagree with one another, we will have debates, and so it goes.
There is no excuse for harassment or bullying of anyone by another person on this site.
The above applies to the main frame areas of the forum.

| For info: SMART Jonathan – Corporal – 25B/1139 – 2nd/24th F Company Attended 1938 Dinner and re-union also the 1939 Dinner and re-union, when he broadcast on the radio (Welsh Regional programme) with Lt. Col. F. Bourne. Promoted to Corporal 1/11/1878 (Not "a few days previously". Like I always say, old men "remember with advantages.") |

| Hi All No Military, Johnathan Smart 2/24 born 26 june 1861 Saffron Walden Essex, married Eliza Colclough 3 july 1886, St James Taxal derbyshire, 1891 census Derby Rd Shardlow, Signalman Midland Railway which does not change until he retires in 1928, M.to Eliza 2 children, 1901 census Elm St Barrowash, 4 Children, 1911, 1921, 1939 175 Victoria Avenue, Barrowash, Ockbrook, Derbyshire. He dies Dec 1943 at his home, and registered in Shardlow Derbyshire District. Rai KLH |
