David Stafford was not part of the Naval Brigade nor a crew member of any Royal Navy Ship that served in the Zulu War. He could very well have been a crew member of one of the many merchant ships that transported troops, weapons and ammunition, and other supplies to Natal during the Zulu war. Tom
