Hi All,
Having served in the Middlesex Militia from age 12, he attested 13 Oct 1868 to 17th Lcrs as private. Discharged 12 Oct 1880 12 yrs service. to South Africa 25 Feb 1879 to UK 31 Jan 1880. On his service papers under campaigns nothing is listed. On his Medical record Natal 6 April 1879. Elsewhere on his record is Received Zulu War Medal War Office 27 Feb 1917.
