Thanks I was already aware of that one, but it is very obviously taken much later then the photographs taken in Dublin, when he was a Major on the Staff.

AN EXPLANATION - There has been some confounding of persons in the public mind concerning the name of Cochrane during the late Zulu campaign, especially with regard the late Prince Imperials death. The Cochrane who was with him on the fatal 1st June, was a trooper of Bettington's Horse forming part of the escort. The officer who was the first to find the Prince's body on the following day was Captain W. Cochrane of the 32nd Light Infantry, then commanding the Natal Native Horse, and now assistant Adjutant General to the Colonial Forces -United Service Gazette

And both of the Cochranes had escaped from Isandhlwana, the former being Robert Cochrane, Sergt. in the 1/3rd NNC.
