Can't remember the exact words, but something about a dead paper hanger - someone says something along the lines of "it's sad" Bourne butts in and settles them -

Is this not the part, where chard is saying take some men to support the south wall, and Brourne he asking how many Odds or even numbers. Something along those lines

I can't work this out - I thought that it was when Witt went crazy and Bourne said "all right then, noby told you to stop working", but I guess everyone would have had their tunics offf... It looks like this is pre-battle, everyone looks too clean!

hi littlehand. I"m with joe , The bayonet line with some guts behind it. Ciscokid if you enlarge the image you can see the bloodstain on the webbing belt under the binocular strap of Chard , and also Bromheads and Chards top buttons on their tunics are undone , If I remember correctly Chard"s top button isnt undone till he is wounded . As for Bromheads button not sure when he undoes his , possibly in the morning while talking to Addendorff. cheers 90th.
