| Hi Everyone
Thanks for the welcome.
As some of you may be aware I am the co author of the recent book on Charlie Harford - in fact I am in the process of preparing volume 2 - probably another 18 months of research and collating yet to be done.
Any knowledge or contributions to members of this forum on any points of knowledge I have will be gladly given as after all we are all in search of the same goal.

| Hi All
Yes the recent trip to Rorke's Drift etc was a great success - if you go to www.anglozuluwar.com you will see the news item about the presentation of the Prince Buthelezi awards - these were presented after the Sunday church service at RD - a very memorable occasion - Adrian Greaves and I then treated the recipients and families to a buffet at Fugitives Drift Lodge.
My daughter Emma also had a great trip - especially going all the way to the top of the Oscarsberg - with me!! - as well as horse riding in amongst the animals and being taken around the local battlefields.
Adrian and I went to Entombe Drift to meet up with Ian Knight and we met up with Johann - a member here - as well.
David

| Hi Johann
As soon as I have fathomed out how to upload the images I will post the image of the Ammo box as well as the photo you sent me showing the Entombe Drift in flood - as it would have been when Moriarty was there.
I will then be able to upload a copy of Moriarty's sword that I have in my collection.
Regards
David |
