indeed, not just what it is, I wanted to to see if the members knew the mark too and what C Gordon did, on Brit Patent 3753 Dec 1869 to change it to a Mk111.

Isn't the thumbpiece on the M-H taken my 1876 Mk2?

Its a Rifle. But the little brass screw thing at the bottom, seems out of place for some reason. Or it could be a handgun
