| SMACK!!! That price hits you in the face.
Is this new material or is it a collection of already researched material that is available on the bookshelves put together in a new dust cover and title.

| Hi Dave . This isnt a book on the war as such . It's a reference guide for what articles have been printed on the war . Hope that makes sense. I ordered a copy back in March for a lot less than this price !. Waiting for my online seller to send it and bill me . cheers 90th. |

| My copy of TWOTS as 656 pages. The first book to cover this subject hardback and it cost nowhere near the price being asked for this publication. |

| But there are many website where you can obtain reference information relating to books published on the Zulu War. Maybe there is a point to this book, but for the life of me I can't see it. |

| I ordered this book a few weeks ago and it should be here early August. It was only with luck I had the money available to buy it. Is the author Harold Raugh a member of this forum ? |

| He is a member on another Zulu War Forum. It appears we can't mentioned this particular site but here a link to give you a clue.

| This book by Harold Raugh arrived in the post today. My very early first impression is that it is full of quality information, normally scattered throughout many books. A single volume being a source for most if not all sought data. As it is a reference book, rather than telling a story of the Zulu War 1879, it has a different use, rather than reading through like a normal history book, but definitely a title worth acquiring. Price is its major downside, but I feel that is the only thing going against it. |
