We are all here to communicate and enjoy the various discussions and information on the Anglo Zulu War of 1879. Opinions will vary, you will agree and disagree with one another, we will have debates, and so it goes.
There is no excuse for harassment or bullying of anyone by another person on this site.
The above applies to the main frame areas of the forum.

| If he was at the bombardment of Alexandria it probably means he was Royal Navy or Marines, so Naval Brigade in Zululand and at Majuba?

| IF I am not mistaken there is a C Moore noted on the British Grave site at Khambula ?
Hans Garrett Moore ( also Irish ) is of course the first VC awarded in SA ( Eastern Cape Frontier Wars ) |

There are three M. Moore's listed on the Medal Roll.
One is Michael Moore, 1st 24th - 914. We can rule him out as the information we have on him does not match the article.
We are left with just two now -
Private 3313 M. Moore, 3rd 60th and Drummer 1407 M. Moore, 57th.
I will update you if I find anything out about the above two.
