Any member blatantly corresponding in a deliberate and provoking manner will be removed from the forum as quickly as possible after the event.

We are all here to communicate and enjoy the various discussions and information on the Anglo Zulu War of 1879. Opinions will vary, you will agree and disagree with one another, we will have debates, and so it goes.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]This relates to the previous Colour-Sergeant insignia, but see what it states for the serge frock. This Colour-Sergeant of the 58th (Rutlandshire) Regiment is wearing the tunic, which shows the rank insignia worn in full dress. | I have just received my copy of this book on Friday and I would like to say a very big "WELL DONE" to Neil and Michael for their efforts in pulling this together. It is long overdue and I have already used it a couple of times since it arrived. It will be the go to book for research into the battle and for comparing different survivors accounts. Well recommended and a must have for anyone interested in the Anglo Zulu War. Well done both, a great job. (Nice to see Alan on the back cover as well  ) Kate  |
