| Hi All, Strangly there is no headstone now to Lt Rawlins, but many of the stones have been laid flat in this Cemetery. Rai Keynshamlighthorse. |

| I have always been of the impression the 90th Regiment was the Perthshire Volunteers, before it became part of the Cameronians(Scottish Rifles) after the reviews of 1881. I have a Zulu War Medal to a Colour Sgt W. Darling of the 90th, with '79 clasp. Also a Regimental Drum to the 1st Battalion, Scottish Rifles dating after WWII, most likely one of their last. |

| Nitro450,
Sorry not quite following your query here.
For the sake clarification, the designation of the regiment was the 90th (Perthshire Volunteers - Light Infantry) Regiment.

| Not really a query, it's just that the mention of the 90th Imperial Mounted Infantry had me wondering. |

| Nitro450,
Rawlins of the 90th (Perthshire Volunteers - Light Infantry) Regiment, served in No. 2 Squadron, Mounted Infantry in the various incarnations of the Coastal Column.
I hope that makes sense now?

| Thanks for clarifying it for me. Has your research uncovered anything on my man, C/Sgt W. Darling of the 90th ? I'd love to know more about him. |
