Casualty List for Gingindlovu

Bill and Julian you probably already know but comparing this list with the IMI lists in Hope's book and the rolls he is shown as P not D Bryan and in this list Hartley is shown as severly wounded not slight.

Note reports of iSandlwana plunder being used. I wonder what happend to that sword?

It is David Bryan and Hartley was severely wounded.
The list in Hope's book is my list. It was not always accurately reproduced.

Hi All
I see the casualty returns again do not mention Private D. Flannery 45/1101 2/3rd ' Buffs ' as being KIA at Gingindlovhu ! , it's mentioned in Forsyth & Dutton , Flannery's parents had placed a Death Notice in one of the papers stating he was KIA at Gingindlovhu , he's also not mentioned on the Gingindlovhu Memorial !? , I find it strange !
