but those anyone have any detailed photographs of the infantry patrol jacket worn by british officers???

hi all .
A collegue has informed me that most patterns of the Pre 1881 Patrol Jacket didnt have shoulder straps . You can see this in
photos from the zulu war period and also in particular portraits of Coghill in his Patrol Jacket . Idea

I've got a large number of photographs of infantry officers wearing patrol jackets.

Is there any particular detail you are looking for?

As an example here's one:

As you can see no shoulder straps, there were some exceptions Rifle Regiments wore a twisted cord shoulder strap on their patrol jackets pre-1881.

I'm going to have to disagree with you there, as the one Richie posted was an Artillery pattern patrol jacket, rather than an Infantry pattern one.
