Colonel Pearsons .Siege of Eshowe Empty
PostSubject: Colonel Pearsons .Siege of Eshowe   Colonel Pearsons .Siege of Eshowe EmptyMon May 04, 2009 7:44 pm

I wonder what was going through Colonel Pearson head when he was stuck in Eshowe.
Would he had know about the disaster of Isandlwana. ?
His men were dying of fever, and he had no knowledge of what was happening on the outside. Could Chelmsford not have sent re-enforcements sooner than he did. Where was Chelmsford when the Siege of Eshowe was on.?

24th I think your find a good interpretation in the Battles Forum. it says Chelmsford never told Pearson for two days.
