There are many accounts from those who were out with Chelmsfords colum during the Battle of Isandlwana, who kit was in the camp, who state they lost all their kit and only had the cloths they were wearing, the same for the RD defenders. How long did it take to replenish their kit, did they have to wait for supplies to arrive with the reinforcements for the second invasion.
