They were written by LC or under his dictation one before and the other after the war...

thank you LH, I possed and read both but there are some differences in, there is one who gives losses suffered by the Zulu army (not possible because incredible loss ) but I was wondering if LC was not behind it ...

How 's about the Zulus, the authors of the book, published before the war ...

Zulu Army And Zulu Headman was published in 1878 I think ! . My copy is the second edition - Revized but has no date ,
there are written notes regarding some of the zulu chiefs stating '' Present at delivery of ultimatum 11/ 11 / 78 '' other dates stated '' Present at the delivery of the ultimatum 11 / 11 / 79 '' . As far as I'm aware the ultimatum was delivered on the 11 / 12 / 78 !!. As for the other pamphlet , there is no date but mine does say '' Corrected to January 1879 '' also its writter is listed as Anonymous . The zulu army and zulu headman I think was compiled by Fynn or Finney ?? , not to sure .

Fortunately that you exist ...

I have both and the differences are explained earlier ...

I do not know how the information on zulus were collected, but in any case for the colors of the Zulu shields, it makes a version more...
