I saw this today and was amazed it has commanded so much. I know there were only 200 sets made sometime back but are they really worth whats being bid? 29 bids so far and theres still 2 days of the auction to go.

I had the Rorke's Drift set by Britains a while back and I've been looking at this one as the seller also has the add on hospital set for sale as well. Still a little to much for me as i'm in the process of buying a Martini Henry from Neil but at least the price for this set is a little more realistic.

The only good model for RD, in 1/56 th scale, is that of Redoubt !

But he had to make the stairs, the scale and also the poles in front of houses !
