80th Regiment's Memorial at Lichfield Cathedral

I've had a query about the 80th's Memorial at Lichfield.

A correspondent of mine is seeking information regarding the funding; designer & etc. for the memorial.

Can anyone assist further?

John Young, have you moved any further on with this, there just doesn't seemed to be any reference to who funded it.

Funded by donations from the officers & men of the 80th, and that's as far as I've got.

Too busy at work with one set of games north of the border thankfully ending tonight, before dealing with another set next month closer to home.

That's why I threw open to the forum.
