Hi,

I managed to get my hands on the Isandlwana:Zulu battlefield DVD.

I can heartily recommend it for anyone interested in the battle - it gives a good perspective of the locations around the area, which photos and maps do not give.

The clips of the B/W silent movie were fantastic.

My only real grip is when they read a quote or excerpt from a diary, the British voices sounded very (to me) 'Pythonesque'.

Cheers

Simon

If the silent black and white movie are cuttings from the Symbol of Sacrifice (1918) I was extremely lucky to be given an original A4 Flyer for the film that a friend found folded in a book. Thats one to be framed for the man cave.
