AZW Panel Discussion Empty
PostSubject: AZW Panel Discussion   AZW Panel Discussion EmptyThu Sep 10, 2009 9:48 pm

Since we have been discussing other forums, I thought I would bring up an interesting post from elsewhere in cyberspace.
Apparently there will be a panel discussion on the AZW next April at the National Army Museum.
A spectrum of experts will "face off". Now this is similar to an idea I had about a book dealing with controversies in the AZW. No beating about the bush. No playing with words.
We get opposing views and we have them compete.
We chose direct and juicy titles.
Like "Did Melville and Coghill deserve their VC's?
Was Durnford a hero or a villain?
Was Dalton the real hero or Rorkes Drift?
Then we get the most extreme opposing authors to present a short chapter of a 15 minute survey of why they support or reject the contention.
I think it would be really good.

Sound like a good idea. But i don't think we have enough members yet. But as future ideas go. This would be a must. Maybe so many words would be better than minutes.
