Hi i have just watch Zulu Dawn again.
And I was hopeing someone could tell me who the Sgt was portraying in Zulu Dawn.
Th Sgt was retreating through a donga with some troops and, Shouting for them to take the high ground. The last we saw off him, he was using his rifle as a club, but was over-whelmed and killed.

hi littlehand. I think that is what"s called ARTISTIC license, something to add drama to the movie, as far as im aware no troops were caught in the dongas in front of camp, and only Durnfords were actually in the dongas as far as im aware , and they left there and retreated back to camp when they started to run low on ammunition. cheers 90th.

Hi I was just watching the scene on youtube again and it looks like the sergeant is actually a corpral as there is only 2 chevrons on his arm.
