John Frederick Howson 1st Dragoon Guards?

I know the regiment in the article is different but there is a Lance Corporal 1900 W Howson in the 1st Dragoon Guards

As in a previous answer, the 6th Iniskilling Dragoons had a long association with Natal and Zululand from 1881 until 1890.

It is feasible that J. F. Howson served in the 1888 Campaign against the Zulu Royalists.

Hi All,
Can confirm, enlisted 9 march 1881 in 6th Dragoons served south Africa 14 April 1882 to 3 Dec 1888.
Born St Cuthberts Derby 1862 died 1950 Wood Green District London.
Did not serve in the Zulu War 1879. but as John state's the 1888 Zulu Campaign which the 6th Dragoons did serve in.
