| I have just received this from The Friends of the Royal Welsh Regimental Museum, Brecon.
The Friends will be holding their annual event in The Sergeants Mess, Dering Lines on Saturday October 14th and the theme will be The Goodwill Collaboration. This will be a lunchtime event.
Please keep the date free and fill a table with friends or supporters for this event which will highlight our plans for Model Farm and next year’s Festival.
Details to follow.
So to expand on what this is for. As many of us are aware abject poverty in rural KwaZulu-Natal is the norm, and the agriculture practiced in the villages is quite literally subsistence farming. In an effort to cement a bond between Brecon and KwaZulu-Natal, an agricultural scheme has been launched involving Brecon, the Royal Agricultural College, Cirencester and Aberystwyth University to help develop a self-help programme in the name of His Late Majesty King Goodwill Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu.
In addition to the agricultural programme avenues are also being explored to introduce wind and solar energy alternatives, given the energy crisis that South Africans experience on a daily basis.
In my humble opinion this is an opportunity to genuinely help the people of KwaZulu-Natal, so please try to support it!
When I have further details on the lunch I post them on the Forum.

| If anyone is attending the lunch on Sunday, I have been informed by the organisers that there will be an auction at the event. In order to raise my money for this worthy cause the family of Sir Stanley Baker are offering two of Stanley’s golf clubs for the auction. So a unique opportunity to own something that once belonged to the man himself! |

| Hence Nigel Green as Bourne. ...and a four iron with some swing behind it. Of course they could have used a Wood like at Kambula but Chard was handicapped by only having his Driver with him. Thankfully he managed to putt away his differences with Bromhead despite having a chip on his shoulder as the situation was becoming extremely rough. And perhaps Hook meant to say, bearing in mind he was in the hospital preparing the tee, "Pinned like rats in a hole in one" Also explains why he went to the left of the hospital during his escape. Kate ps I have no interest in Golf so please excuse any misuse of terms. |

| Kate, Did Hook go to the left to get the tea caddy? Would that be a fair way of describing his action? And do you think you could provide some links to give us a better idea of what you're driving at in the your last post?
