Isandlwana/Rorkes Drift Race

Saturday 22nd January sees the annual running of the David Rattray Memorial race. The race starts at the St Vincent church at Isandlwana, goes round the battlefield at the firing line up tp Blacks Koppie, across the wagon park, past Younghusbands last stand and then out along the old waggon road to finish at Rorkes Drift. The distance is roughly 21 km and is reasonably well attended with coke and water every 3 kms or so. I've run a few of these races and can really recommend it to any fit enough to give it a go!
