| Yes he did , was entitled to the Medal with 1879 Clasp according to the Forsyth Roll . Any idea how he died and where the Grave is situated ? 90th |

| Hi 90th The grave is situated at Fort Evelyn. How he died, I do not know that. |

| Thanks Andy , I went there last year but didn't notice it , probably because the grass was quite high in spots ! . Have listed Ft Evelyn for another visit in May or June next year ! . 90th |

| Hi JY I contacted the ' Major ' about us going to find the grave of Drm Maj Brown , he said he's aware there's a grave there , but couldn't remember the name , so Yes , we are going again in May or June . Ft Evelyn is on the main Rd so it's easy to get to . Cheers JY 90th |

| Hi JY Unfortunately can't be done , going with I.K in Jan for his 140th. I'm hoping I can get back there and the earliest will be in May / June , but that's no certainty as yet . Yes.. I believe he's done and doing plenty of work , it's Hlobane & Kambula for you lot ?. It will be an excellent Patrol , no doubt about it . 90th |

| Ive sent two photos of the grave for posting. Gary its around 30 metes of the road facing over the valley. Beautifull location. |

| As a matter of interest Gary, when you were in the Melmoth area did you get to see the graves of Scott Douglas and Cpl Cotter at Kwa Magwasi ? |
